I read self-help books with joy and most of the time can already see and feel the changes that will come with the promise.
Then… nothing, maybe one small take away but most of the time I put the book on the bookshelf and it collects dust and I’m still the same as before with the same hopes and wishes.

It’s so easy to go and see a doctor for a broken bone or a cough and expect to get fixed. However, when it comes to our inner lives, everyday stressors, acknowledging anxiety it’s harder to ask for help.
My own experience has shown me exactly that. Asking for help, finding the right health coach or therapist feels intriguing. I mean there is nothing really wrong with me.

To start it all over again the next time. Yes, a day only has 24 hours, that said that’s the case for each of us and it’s how we feel and go about it that makes the difference.

Wolever, PhD, director of health coaching for the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in Nashville. “
